Session 1 (3:00 to 3:45 pm) - Bilingual Story and Games (Designed for all ages) An interactive experience where language meets adventure! Experience captivating tales told in both Chinese and English, while engaging in fun-filled games designed to enhance learning! Session 2 (3:55 to 5:00pm) - Spring Crafters (Designed for all ages) At Spring Crafters, explore sensory play, dough art, and spring crafting all at once. With bilingual instructions, everyone can fully engage in the creative fun! *For under 3s, a simplified, age-appropriate craft will be provided, allowing children to complete it with the assistance of their parents. Key Benefits: Bilingual Engagement: Participants have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a bilingual environment, enhancing language skills in both Chinese and English. Multi-Sensory Learning: Through sensory play and hands-on activities like dough art and crafting, participants engage multiple senses, promoting deeper learning and creativity. WHAT YOU WILL DO: • History and Cultural Exploration • Craft & Draft your own Dragon Boat! • Traditional Chinese Scented Sachet Making • Chinese Tea & Rice Dumplings Tasting • Chinese Chant Battle with Prizes to WIN ! KEY BENEFITS • Deepens understanding of Chinese culture and traditions through immersion in the celebrated Dragon Boat Festival. • Connects families and communities in a shared experience of cultural exploration and celebration. • Ignites curiosity and motivates children to learn more about the Chinese language and culture. • Encourages creativity through hands-on activities and artistic expression related to Dragon Boat Festival. • Fosters cross-cultural understanding and respect by engaging in a cherished Chinese tradition. OUR TEACHERS The workshop will be taught by Miss Alison. KEY INFORMATION AGE GUIDELINE The workshop welcomes children aged 4 to 12, fostering an inclusive environment for their participation. While we highly encourage parents to join for an enhanced experience, their presence is not mandatory. Children can attend independently, allowing them to explore and engage in the workshop freely. In addition, we warmly welcome babies and children under 3 years old to join the workshop accompanied by an adult. This inclusive approach allows families with young children to participate and create meaningful memories together. DRESS CODE We encourage participant to dress in traditional Chinese clothing, such as Hanfu, if you need to change clothing during the workshop, we only have toilet facilities to accommodate.

Let your little ones' curiosity soar as they engage in hands-on learning and creative exploration! Session 1 (3:00 to 3:45 pm) - Story and Games Delve into a bilingual adventure with 'Maisy's Mouse Landing on the Moon'! Experience this delightful story in both Mandarin and English, followed by engaging language-learning games designed to enrich vocabulary and comprehension skills. Interval (3:45 to 3:55 pm) Interval Session 2 (3:55 to 5:00pm) - Space Explorers (Designed for all ages) Explore sensory play, craft DIY galaxy cake pops, design and decorate your own rockets, and create fizzing planets. Children will engage in imaginative exploration while enjoying hands-on activities inspired by space. From decorating rockets to creating fizzy planets, they'll have a blast while learning about the wonders of the cosmos! *For under 3s, a simplified, age-appropriate craft will be provided, allowing children to complete it with the assistance of their parents.

Join us for a day full of super fun activities while learning Chinese! MORNING: Arts and Crafts Story Yoga AFTERNOON: Chinese Calligraphy & Painting Easter Egg Hunt! Han Arts Education aims to provide a fun and stimulating environment for students to learn Mandarin in a meaningful way. This workshop offers an unique experience for students to participate all kinds of activities such as Yoga, Chinese calligraphy & painting, Chinese poetry and many more, whilst learning a foreign language. KEY BENEFITS: Enhances lexical knowledge across diverse areas Improves collaborative abilities and interpersonal skills Developing multilingual interests and attitudes Cross-cultural education and awareness OUR TEACHERS: The workshop will be taught by our subject specialists and teaching assistant. We warmly welcome children of all ages, including babies, to our classes. For safety reasons and to help ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the class, we require that children aged 3 and below be accompanied by an adult, who can attend free of charge.
